As Operations Manager, you are responsible to coordinate the operations of the NGO, EduCARE India throughout its various centres and clusters. In collaboration with the management staff and Program Coordinators, you help facilitate the smooth operations, communications and management of the projects. It’s a dynamic job role that asks for a great amount of flexibility and practical management skills. You have to be able to understand group dynamics, running projects, future plans and the overall vision of the organization and run the centres accordingly. Besides basic management skills we are looking for somebody that has a background in development work, conflict resolution and communication, that has a positive attitude, is a hard worker and knows how to get things done.

Responsibilities :
Creating overall organisational strategy, long-term goals and organisational culture alongside Director and Assistant Director
Creating organisational policies and documentation
Managing the online information and communications platform
· Managing organisational calendar – holiday, activities, work in a conjuction with Cluster Coordinator and Programme Coordinator.
· Arranging quarterly Executive and Cluster Committee meetings
· Make agenda, collate issues
· Arranging travel and accommodation requirements alongside Cluster Coordinator when these meetings occur
· Managing HR needs alongside Programme Coordinators
· Overseeing online communication platforms e,g twitter, facebook, blogger, websites for programmes
· Assist the Chief Director with ongoing projects as well as with daily tasks. Take responsibility for certain activities when the manager is absent.
Participates in some additional social enterprise, community education and development programs within the cluster.
