Responsibilities
As an Equity Research Analyst Assistant:
* Work within the Research team reporting directly to research analysts
* Your main task consists of assisting analysts in:
1. following up economic and financial news related to the covered asset/sector
2. writing and publishing financial research reports (strategy, companies, sectors, thematic, etc.)
* Support analysts’ fundamental approach working on in-depth industry and company modelling, and perform quality analysis in order to derive investment recommendations
* Help analysts to present the findings to institutional investors and company’ sales force (morning meeting, presentation, bespoke work, etc.)
* Help to develop and maintain databases
Profil recherché et exigences du poste
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
* Student completing a Master’s level qualification within a management, economic or engineering subject (you are preferably in your last year of studies, seeking placement)
* Strong interest and understanding of financial markets and some working knowledge of accounting, financial modelling, and valuation techniques
* As your work will also be very close to real market data, basic knowledge of databases is necessary
* Good command of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel skills) and Bloomberg are desirable
* Analytical skills
* Rigorous and intellectually curious to discover new findings
* Team player able to work in a demanding environment, dynamic and entrepreneurial
* Interpersonal skills such as exceptional writing and communication
* Truly fluent in English and may have achieved a proficient level in a second European language
