POSITION SUMMARY
Duration: 4- 12 week internships
Start dates: January 10th, February 1st, March 1st, April 1st 2015.

InGlobed (International Institute for Global Education and Development) offers a 2 – 12 week short-term summer research and educational program that gives graduate students the opportunity to work with students and development pro-fessionals from universities and organizations in North India.

Short-term research interns are coming as researchers and learners to follow a professional training and educational program on research methodologies, cross-cultural communication and sensitivity, global awareness and education, oriental and ecopsychology, future studies, sustainable leadership and others. Moreover, as researchers interns will have a professionally guided research project on ground in collaboration with local Indian universities and the possibilities to get hands-on exposure in grass-root work in one of EduCARE India's outreach pro-grams such as Girls Club, etc.

Educare India is looking to begin a new project on ground at the Takhni Rehma-pur Wildlife Sanctuary near Hoshirpur, Punjab. We are looking for candidates to join a small team of Interns to initiate wildlife and conservation research on ground in the local area. There is a great need for attending to forestation, wild-life and natural bio-diversity conservation in India in the new age of globaliza-tion, industrialization and urbanization.

We are interested in volunteer-interns, who are motivated, eager to learn, and hard-working and who are seeking a cross-cultural exchange. Interest, education or experience in forestation, wild-life and natural bio-diversity conservation is desired. This internship provides freedom within the project, however it requires personal motivation and leadership skills. If applied, the internship will be of much value.
